A to Z Theme 2016

For my 2016 A to Z theme I used a meme that I ran across on the blog of Bridget Straub who first saw it on the blog of Paula Acton. This meme is a natural for me to use on my memoir blog. It's an A to Z concept and it's about me. No research and nothing complicated. I'm given twenty six questions or topics to discuss that are about me.

In April I kept my posts short and uncomplicated. In the midst of it all you might learn a few things about me that you didn't previously know.

Ghosts, Are They Real? (#atozchallenge)

G-Ghosts, are they real?:

Metaphorical ghosts are certainly real.  I'm not sure about those supernatural type scary ghosts.  Not even the friendly type ghosts.  I'd be wary of any kind of spirit manifestation and don't know that I want to experience such a thing.  But the ghosts of memory, sensation, or dreaming I certainly believe that they are real.

Sometimes loved ones or people I have known who have passed on will appear in my dreams.  That seems like a communication of some sort to me.  Like this morning before waking I dreamed that I was at a restaurant very early in the morning.  There was a spaghetti buffet where people were getting large plates of spaghetti.  My late father was sitting across the table from me eating a very appetizing sauce laden plate of pasta.   I wanted some badly but couldn't get past the fact that I should be having breakfast.   I wanted the spaghetti very much, feeling very conflicted at the same time.

Then I woke up.  I felt very hungry with somewhat of a craving for spaghetti.   Maybe there's something to do with ghosts in that story.  Metaphorical ghosts.   Those are the only ghosts that ever visit me.

Do you believe in supernatural ghosts?    What kinds of metaphorical ghosts enter into your life?    Do you ever wake up hungry and craving something unusual for you to be craving at the time?
